Good start - pear and chia seed pudding!

So I'm feeling pretty good this morning! Maybe that's a couple of weeks holiday, maybe it's yesterday's acupuncture, maybe it's starting the day with yoga or maybe it's the Autumn sun. It could also be the delicious breakfast I started with :-)

As I've mentioned, the list of foods containing sulphites seems longer than the list of foods which don't. Trying to find alternatives can be an exhausting task! So I'll be sharing a few recipes as I go along which are sulphite free. Starting today with the most important, and indeed my favourite, meal of the day - Breakfast!

I found this recipe on a website called kaylaitsines.com.au/ the recipe Pear Chia Seed Pudding was basically sulphite free with just a few tweaks.

Here is my effort:

Sulphite Free Pear and Chia seed pudding
Serves 1
Ingredients1 tbs chia seeds
1/3 cup almond milk
1 tbs yogurt
1 tsp pure honey
1/2 pear
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs almond flakes
1 tbs coconut flakes

Method1. In a cereal bowl mix the almond milk, greek yogurt and honey. Stir in the chia seeds.
2. Refrigerate overnight.
3. In the morning chop the pear into small pieces and sprinkle with cinnamon. Arrange the pear, almond flakes and coconut flakes over the pudding and eat up!
